How to make sure E-mail recovery will work for me



Question: The product is stated as free to evaluate, but I can't recover any message to test it, it asks me to buy the license to be able to save my data.

Answer: The trial version of the product will not let you save any recovered messages unless you purchase the license. But there is the way to check the recovered emails without saving them to be sure they have been recovered correctly. Select single found message, and you will see the preview of the message text below. If you double click to the message, the preview in new window will be opened. As you can see on the screenshot below, the message attachments are also listed. Click the attachments, and you will be able to preview them. If you will see what you need in the preview — we give you 100% guarantee for successful recovery with full version of the product for what you've seen. The preview means that the message or attachment is already recovered successfully, so with the full product you just will be able to save it. But remember, the preview should include all parts of your document and in original resolution with any noise or garbage. It's possible that there's something in your attachment that conflicts with our internal viewer, but will be fine with usual application.

Question: I've completed the scan, found and preview the messages I need successfully. Now I'm going to purchase the full version. Will I be able to use the current scan results, or do I need to repeat the scan with full product?

Answer: You can recover the messages you've found using trial version by adding license key. Select the messages and click to Recover, and you will be asked for the key to unlock the save procedure.

Question: Can you give me the guarantee for successful recovery if I've seen message topic, from and to fields and correct number of attachments?

Answer: While in most cases the message with attachments will be recovered without any problem, but we do not guarantee successful recovery if you didn't see a preview. That's why it's important to check the previews. The product can't check the previews automatically, as only the customer knows how the correct preview should look like.

Question: I've seen the HEX preview for my attachment, what is my guarantees?

Answer: First, please try to switch the preview to native, non-HEX mode. If you can't open the normal preview of the attachment, and only HEX is available, it could be a sign that your attachment file may be damaged, as our internal viewer can't display it. We can give you guarantee for successful recovery only if you're sure that the HEX preview displayed for your attachment is 100% correct.

Question: I cannot preview the attachment with your software, it was stored in rare file format not supported by your preview. I want to know about my guarantees in this case.

Answer: Sorry, but we do not give guarantee for successful recovery if there is no preview, whatever the reason. You still can try to purchase the product and recover the attachment.
