Easy data backup and restore with SoftAmbulance

When you order SoftAmbulance data recovery product, while the license does not have any time limit, you expect to use the product only once – to recover your lost data and to not lose the files anymore. We wish you to have no lost data problems anymore, and we're glad to offer you the way to use our product not only for data recovery purpose: you can use SoftAmbulance for data backup and restore, for no additional cost!

For some situations it's useful to perform the recovery from recovery snapshot created by our product from source drive. Recovery snapshot, or Image, is a copy of the whole drive to a single file, than can be mounted into our product anytime and scanned just like your local drive. But you can use the recovery snapshot option for backup purposes as well.

To make backup of your drive, simply create the Image of it and place to another HDD which you can put in the safe place, or you can split the snapshot file to DVD-Rs and burn. The procedure of snapshot creation is fast and takes no more than linear reading of the whole drive.

To create the recovery snapshot, select the drive you need to backup within our product, right-click on it and select Create Image or Create Recovery Snapshot, depending on the product you're using. For Partition Doctor it will look like:

Once you will need to restore the drive from backup, start our product, mount your recovery snapshot file and scan it as your local drive. You will be able to find and browse all the files on the backup you've created, select the files you need and save them anywhere you want. If you want to recover the whole partition, just reformat the drive and recover all the files and folders you can see after opening the backup recovery snapshot within our product.

You can use all our products for backup purposes, but with several limitations: while with SoftAmbulance Uneraser and Partition Doctor you can backup and recover the files of any type, with Mail Recovery products – only emails, with Photo Undelete – you can backup and restore the pictures and videos only.
