Question: What details I should collect before contacting SoftAmbulance's support?
Answer: When you contact us, your message should contain at least following information:
- Size and type of the drive you're scanning
- the size and type of the files you're trying to recover
- full texts of product error messages if you've seen any
- if possible, this is strongly recommended: we'd like to see the screenshots of how you're trying to use the product, please provide us the screenshot of all your steps from starting the product till the problem
Send us the log of DXDIAG (can be accessed by Start-Run-DXDIAG-Enter-Save Information File).

Question: What is a screenshot and how to capture it?
Answer: Screenshot is a picture of what you see on your screen. It can be captured by pressing [Print Screen] button which is near F12 and Scroll Lock, right above the Insert. Screenshot may provide us a lot of details you can write in your email message.
When you click Print Screen, nothing visible will happen, but the copy of the screen will be placed in the clipboard. Just open Paint or Microsoft Word or any other application that can save the picture, paste here your screenshot from the clipboard, save to a file and attach to your next message to support service.
