Question: What is the best way to use the Photo Undelete product?
Answer: It's very easy to recover your lost pictures and video files with SoftAmbulance Photo Undelete. Start the product, connect the device from where you need to recover your files, select it and wait until scan is completed. All you need then is to locate the files you need and preview them or play with our internal video played. If everything is fine and the previews are correct, you can purchase the full version to recover your files. Just select the files you need, click to Recover and specify the destination folder where you need to save your files. Make sure you're saving them not to the same drive.

Answer: You should not write anything to the devices from where you're trying to recover your files, as you can easily overwrite your lost pictures and videos, and if you try to recover the data to the same partition using our product, you will see a warning message.

Question: Are my lost pictures and videos protected during recovery?
Answer: As our product does not write anything to the source drive during scan, you can by sure it will not damage your lost pictures and videos. However, if your drive does not operate correctly and changes the information even on read requests, you may damage your drive even during scan. In this case it's important to create recovery snapshot and then scan it like your initial drive. And you should not try to recover your files to the same device.

Question: What else can help me in recovery procedure?
Answer: Do not use USB-to-HDD adapters, as they reduce speed and distort some read requests to the problem areas. If possible, please connect your drive directly to the motherboard by SATA or ATA.
