How to recover pictures and videos from Hard Drive

Question: I can't see my drive in SoftAmbulance Photo Undelete.

Answer: SoftAmbulance Photo Undelete access the drives using standard Windows interface for access local drive storages. Your drive should be seen in My Computer as a drive with assigned drive letter, or in case of HDD, it may be enough to see your drive in BIOS and in Drive Management of Windows. If your device is not designed to appear as a drive letter, our product will not be able to help you access it in such way, and you will need to get the HDD drive or memory card away from the device or rack and connect it to the PC via SATA/ATA or card-reader. If you don't see your HDD in Drive Management, make sure it's visible in BIOS of your PC, it's possible that the channel with HDD is turned off.

Question: I've complete the scan, but I can't find some pictures and videos.

Answer: If you've used Fast Scan, rescan the drive in Full Scan mode. If this will not help too, you should try to create recovery snapshot of the whole partition or the drive to another drive, mount it and scan again, this will reduce the amount of read operations to the source drive, this is not rare problem of card readers. Question: Does Photo Undelete support picture and video recovery from RAID?

Answer: While Photo Undelete does not provide low-level RAID support, it may help you in case you've just deleted several files, but can access the RAID in usual way. Just scan your RAID as local drive, find your lost pictures and videos and try to recover them. If you can't access your RAID via My Computer, our product will be able to help you only in case of RAID-1. You will need to connect the single drive from your RAID 1 to the PC in non-RAID mode and try to scan it like physical drive. If you can't access your RAID and it's not RAID-1, please contact our support service.
